In August, From First to Last announced two headlining shows alongside their planned festival appearances, including a stop at House of Blues Anaheim just days before heading to Sacramento for Aftershock Festival.
For both shows, the band brought along I Set My Friends on Fire and Roman Candle. The Anaheim date also featured Long Beach locals A Year Ago Today, who kicked off the night with an energetic opening set.
The lineup brought together both longtime fans and a newer generation of scene kids. Throughout the night, fans sang along to nearly every song, looked out for one another in the pit, and created the kind of welcoming atmosphere that has always been central to the scene.

Before From First to Last took the stage, Matt Good noted that the band’s new EP, We Were Bleeding Anyway, had just been released. The setlist blended longtime favorites with newer material, giving fans a look at how the band has continued to evolve while still holding onto the sound that made them such an important part of the post-hardcore scene.
The performance showed just how naturally From First to Last have been able to balance nostalgia with their current era. Even when the band moved into newer songs, the crowd stayed engaged, and the chemistry between the band and fans remained strong throughout the set.

With Lil Lotus now fronting the band, From First to Last continue to move into a new chapter while keeping a clear connection to their past.
Next up, From First to Last are set to appear at Vans Warped Tour Florida on November 14–15.
