Darkwave duo Boy Harsher just confirmed a sprawling new tour, kicking off with a one-off June 26 date in San Francisco before the real run begins in September and stretches all the way to November 5.

For a band whose sound thrives on tension, isolation, and that specific kind of cold, pulsing dread, this marks their first extensive North American headlining run since the 2022 cycle around “The Runner.” That gap matters. Jae Matthews and Augustus Muller have spent the last few years building a cult following through soundtrack work and scattered dates, so a tour this size feels like a statement that Boy Harsher is back in full force.

The main leg kicks off September 25 at Basilica Hudson in upstate New York, a venue whose industrial, cavernous vibe feels almost too perfect for this band. From there, the tour heads into Boston, then crosses into Canada for Montreal and Toronto before working through the Midwest with stops in Detroit, Chicago, and Minneapolis.

The West Coast run is where things get especially interesting. Portland, Seattle, and a return trip to Vancouver lead into Oakland and a Los Angeles date at the Hollywood Palladium, one of the bigger rooms the duo has played in this market. From there it’s Las Vegas, Phoenix, and a string of Southern dates through Fort Worth, New Orleans, Atlanta, and Asheville before the tour heads east for its final stretch in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and a closing show at Knockdown Center in Queens.

Support is rotating depending on the city, with names like Choir Boy, Evanora Unlimited, True Blue, and Kassie Krut filling out different legs of the run. It’s a lineup that leans into the same emotionally heavy, atmospheric territory Boy Harsher has built their reputation on, so even the openers feel like part of the larger mood the tour is going for.

Tickets went on sale June 12, and given how quickly Boy Harsher shows tend to sell in mid-size venues, this is one to grab early if it’s anywhere near you.
